Nice to look at
The acting, the singing, the sets, the music were excellent but the substance was not all there. I was entertained, of course, when I went to see Rittz. I did nod off and on near the intermission and during the second half, as did my 23-year-old daughter. The number with the toys creeped me out (that shouldn't happen, I am 51) and the change in the father was unconvincing to me. If you get a bargain for the tickets, be sure to go because the rest of the audience, mostly made up of children and teens with their parents, was mesmerized.
